Dr Russell Barkley has defined the term Time-Blindness to describe difficulties with planning and time management. Time-blindness is associated with ADHD. If you struggle with time-blindness then cooking to a deadline can be really challenging. LunchTime has features to help overcome problems with both meal planning and time management.

For example LunchTime can help answer these questions:

  • If I bake bread what time can I serve it to my children?
  • I have limited time, can I cook a long recipe if I start now?
  • I started cooking and then got distracted, when will my food be ready now?

Pomodoro Timer

Timers are recommended for people with time-blindness. These are often referred to as Pomodoro timers after the clockwork kitchen timers shaped like a tomato. LunchTime can be used for simple reminders or as a programmable Pomodoro timer.
